14 wrappers competed against one another; the competitors were challenged to a series of rounds where they were tasked with wrapping a Mercedes Vito sliding door with a 20-minute timeframe. During the creative round, the wrappers were tasked with wrapping a famous Swedish horse called a “Dalahäst. 8 wrappers competed in the quarter final, after which Bilal Usmanov from T58-Wrapping was crowned the champion and qualifies to compete in the World Wrap Masters Final 2024 that will be held at FESPA Global Print Expo 2024 in Amsterdam. Bilal has been wrapping for 4 years and was delighted with his win commenting “For me, winning this competition means that I have reached a new level and offered me the opportunity demonstrate my art in wrapping. I’m ready to battle the other competitors in the final in Amsterdam!’

Alireza Agahi from ADS4YOU came in second place and Mo Zaki from Accord Skylt & Reklam who came in third place.

The judges this year included wrap experts Ole Solskin and Brian Malev from 3M. The judges followed a series of strict guidelines alongside their expert knowledge to ensure a fair judgement for all the competitors. Wrappers were judged on the quality and skill of their wrapping.

Emil Gillmor from KA Olsson who organized the competition commented on the tense competition stating “World Wrap Masters Sweden is the best event so far in the Nordics and by far the main attraction of the Sign & Print Fair. The whole team of KA Olsson, 3M, Ole Solskin on the mic and incredibly pleased with the result, everything went far better than we imagined.”
